OUR FACILITY
Get Spun is fully equipped with change rooms for showers, towels blowdryers and everything you need to
get you cleaned up after your workout. We do have lockers available for rent or cubbies to store your items
while you're here. We also have a selection of cycle shoes with clips for rent and all our bikes have cages
if you are wearing running shoes.
If you are new to the studio, make sure to come a few minutes early to fill out a health waiver, meet your instructor and get set up on the equipment.
CYCLE
Indoor cycling is a widely popular form of cardio training where you are immersed in a motivating and inspiring pack
environment. Our teachers are energetic and experienced and there to provide you with the ultimate workout.
With rocking tunes in a class of under an hour you are led through a series of flat roads, hills and sprints
designed to make you sweat! Get Spun is equipped with the top of the line Schwinn Evolution bikes which are designed
to simulate the feel of riding on a real road with out the crazy Toronto drivers! No matter your level or ability
indoor cycling is the most efficient form of cardio, and let’s be honest – we aren’t finding any more hours in our day!

FIRST CLASS Q&A - What should I wear?
Proper cycling shoes with clips are recommended as well as cycling shorts or pants with a chamois. If you don’t
have the padded shorts or pants Capri’s length pants are best so that they don’t get caught in the pedals. To
purchase shoes we recommend our clients go to Duke’s Cycle

Should I show up early for class?
It is a good idea to show up at least 5-10 minutes before the scheduled class, especially for the beginner
class to ensure all forms have been filled out and that you are properly set up on the bike.
What if I’m worried I won’t keep up with the class?
The best part about the classes is that you can work at whatever pace you like. You are welcome to take part
in our beginner classes, or make sure you tell the teacher it is your first time. We are here to make sure
your first experience is the best it can possibly be.
What can I expect after the first class?
Because indoor cycling is a unique form of exercise where you will likely sweat more then usual it is extremely
important to replenish your bodily fluids with lots of water and electrolytes. Your body will take a few classes
to get used to the positioning on the saddle and you may feel some discomfort - don’t worry! This is normal,
everyone has it. Push through the first few times and you won’t look back!
GRAVITY®
- Strength Training, GRAVITY/Cycle Combo + 30 min Blast Sessions
One of the few studios in the city to offer this very innovative training. Our GRAVITY classes are
semi-private training, no more than 5 people per class. With such personalized attention we can cater
the sessions to your individual needs and get similar results to that of personal training. The sessions
are interactive and fun and you are sure to start seeing results and feeling tighter right away! There are
beginners to every class so don’t be intimidated, you can work at your own pace.

TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING - 30 min Blast Sessions + Circuit Training
TRX Suspension Training gives athletes of all levels a complete total-body workout in as little as 30 min!

MILATES™

YOGA
Ashtanga Yoga is based on Vinyasa. Vinyasa means breathing and movement system. For each movement, there is one breath.

FIGHTING FIT
Fighting Fit is a circuit style group exercise class using exercises and drills that professional mixed martial
artists perform when training for competition. The class is an exciting blend of plyometrics and striking drills
in a safe non-contact workout. This unique and original exercise class will help you improve your cardio fitness,
lose weight, tone up and reduce stress. You don’t need any martial arts experience to participate in this workout
since we are not here you to teach you how to fight but to get you fighting fit!
ULTIMATE BODY TRAINING CAMP
A combination of our past favourites, Extreme Functional Training and Sports Conditioning. Consider the studio a
fitness playground and let our trainers create an intense fat burning, muscle strengthening session for you.
The class will involve balance training, anaerobic conditioning, pylometrics, and speed and agility drills
utilizing training tools such as the agility ladder and cones, medicine balls and Bosu balance trainers.
The sessions will always be changing and keep your body forever guessing. It is these innovative bootcamp sessions
Get Spun is known for! Due to the high impact nature of this class, it is recommended that participants have had more
than 3 months of resistance training experience and have no current injuries.
