Get Spun is equipped with the top of the line Schwinn Evolution bikes which are designed to simulate the feel of riding on a real road with out the crazy Toronto drivers! No matter your level or ability indoor cycling is the most efficient form of cardio, and let’s be honest – we aren’t finding any more hours in our day!

Among the many physical and mental benefits indoor cycling has, the classes are fun. Here are some of cold facts of why it’s a fantastic workout:

  1. Weight loss –decrease body fat

  2. Increased energy levels

  3. Burn up to 900 calories a class (depends on the individual body and workout)

  4. Tones muscles

  5. Stress relief

  6. Sleep better

  7. Increase cardio endurance

  9. Decreased risk of heart disease

Indoor Cycling Gear

Proper cycling shoes with clips are recommended as well as cycling shorts or pants with a chamois. If you don’t have the padded shorts or pants Capri’s length pants are best so that they don’t get caught in the pedals. In our merchandise boutique you can purchase the cycling shorts and rent cycling shoes. To purchase shoes we recommend our clients go to Duke’s Cycle conveniently located almost kitty corner to Get Spun at 452 RICHMOND STREET WEST- 4165046138 www.dukescycle.ca

First Class Q&A

Q: How do I sign up?

A: You can sign up on line at under Schedule/Rates/Register or call the studio 416.850.0843

Q: Should I show up early for class?

A: It is a good idea to show up at least 5-10 minutes before the scheduled class, especially for the beginner class to ensure all forms have been filled out and that you are properly set up on the bike.

Q: What do I bring?

A: Workout gear with running shoes.

Q: What if I’m worried I won’t keep up with the class?

A: The best part about the classes is that you can work at whatever pace you like. You are welcome to take part in our beginner classes, or make sure you tell the teacher it is your first time. We are here to make sure your first experience is the best it can possibly be.

Q: What can I expect after the first class?

A: Because indoor cycling is a unique form of exercise where you will likely sweat more then usual it is extremely important to replenish your bodily fluids with lots of water and electrolytes. Your body will take a few classes to get used to the positioning on the saddle and you may feel some discomfort- don’t worry! This is normal, everyone has it. Push through the first few times and you won’t look back!
